7 months after the 5.12 earthquake~~~
Well, this post gonna flooded by all those pics u cannot even imagine......
On the 12th Dec 2008, 7 months after 5.12 earthquake, I started my one-day tour in my hometown--- Du1 Jiang1 Yan4 ( which was seriously damaged in the earthquake)
The day when I first stepped in my hometown, I was in a car. I alr told myself to be mentally prepared when I was at the high way exit where there was a lot of scrap cars, or i could just call them scrap iron. At least 90% were caused by the earthquake bah~~~~
The city was not as crowded as last time, a lot of buildings were abandoned there like ghost houses~~~~
I was walking through out my tour. It was still a bit scary when walking pass all those dangerous buildings, cos there was still aftershock every now and then......
This was a very famous hot-pot shop in Du Jiang Yan~~~

No shops can still run their business in this street.....
The balcony was gone!!!!
Dusts wait to be cleaned~~~~

If u realise the second floor was gone!!!!
The wars from the 3rd floor onwards were gone!!!!
This was a very typical ruins of the earthquake, even the the minister of USA came and visti this place. It was a disco last time~~~
It was ruins a few months ago, but now, grass started to grow to cover it~~~
I think this was some paper made burnt by the relatives of the victims bah~~~
There used to be a market~~~
Ppl lost their shops soon set up their business in this kind of tents......
this was where I used to live when I was in kindergarden~~~~
The room I used to practice my piano there~~~
This was another typical artwork of the earthquake, the shop became a parallelogram after tt ~~~
Du Jiang Yan is famous for its natural attractions, can still find some positive sites lah!!
This was a dush bin, so artistic right!!! =))
This was considered as the city centre le bah~~
Describtion of Du Jiang Yan~~~ The monument was sooo huge tt I was just a tiny piece compare to it!!! LOL!! haha!!XDD
Well, all those ppl who lost their housed in the earthquake, they got some temporary house to live in. This was one of them~~~
Was quite touched by the optimism of the ppl there. No matter wad happened, we should always have the courage to continue living!!! =)))
Living in this kind of temporary house, ppl still nv forget to plant some green plants!!! =))
The little girl was studying there~~~ Yes, Jiayou, dun give up so easily!!=DD
It gonna be chinese new year soon, sooo can see sausages!!! =)))

Ppl really utilize every piece of land, see they even growed veges by themselves!!! =DD
This was the kitchen which I think 2 families shared one. According to one of my mum's friend who lived there, she said tt, the neighours there were all very nice, everytime after they cook sth, they will share the food!!! =DDD

Though every thing must restart, ppl was really very strong. I eye witnessed a marriage in tt temparory home. Everything was very simple~~~

This was the first marriage in this kind of temporary home and also the new couple decided to use the money they saved to buy 100 pices electric blankets to give to the elderly living in tt temporary home, so a lot of journalists came to report this news!!! Wowwww~~~
Even though there were sooooo many professional camaras, I still managed to get this sole scene!! haha!!! This was taken b4 the ceremony when the groom was preparing beside the stage!! haha!!
Why I got this privilege leh? Of course it was not because I am experienced or wad, haha, it was because the groom was my uncle!!! =))) Quite handsome right!! haha!! Actually I think he looks like Andy Law!!! hehe!!! ^o^
Their bridal chamber was simple and small, but it was really special!!! <333
Tt is all I saw in my home town......
Quite sad tt a lot of things could not be found, but at the same time, very touched tt a lot of things being found!
Reconstuction doesn't only take 1 or 2 days, it will be a long process and it will be a hard process! But we all must be strong, cos our future will definately better......
Dedicate this song called Love and Hope, from JJ Lim Jun Jie, to all the ppl who were affected in the earthquake. Yeah, be strong, there will always be love and hope!! =)))
