the seventh evening of July...
Yar, today is the seventh evening of July, the chinese valenties' day! It is the day in the legend tt niu lang and zhi nv meet each other. Though it is just one day of the year, how sweet is it!!=)
Here is the story:
A young cowherd named Niulang the cowherd happens across seven fairy sisters bathing in a lake. Encouraged by his mischievous companion the ox, he steals their clothes and waits to see what will happen. The fairy sisters elect the youngest and most beautiful sister Zhinü the weaver girl to retrieve their clothing. She does so, but since Niulang has seen her naked, she must agree to his request for marriage. She became a wonderful wife, and Niulang a good husband . But the Goddess of Heaven finds out that a mortal has married one of the fairy girls and is furious. Taking out her hairpin, the Goddess scratches a river in the sky to separate the two lovers forever thus forming the Milky Way .Zhinü must sit forever on one side of the river while Niulang watches her from afar and takes care of their two children .But once a year all the magpies in the world take pity on them and fly up into heaven to form a bridge over the star Deneb in the Cygnus constellation so the lovers may be together for a single night, the seventh night of the seventh moon.
Tml is national day celebration, I just realised how useful my Ares shirt is, can wear for national day, can wear for chinese new year! haha! Saw a lot of read Ares shirts in sch this afternoon, I was looking around and smile unconsiously. haha!!! =D
Spent the rest of my chinese valenties' day afternoon with yang lu and zhou jing in A206. We were having a girl's talk there. LOL!! We want to take photos of three, but tried sooooo many times still a failure, actually we did not take many times cos after taking one pic we would laugh for 5 mins. haha!!
The first one was zhou jing's try, follow by yang lu's then mine.
Ok, fail fail fail, fine, give up, use the timer bah!
first try, oh shit, i run to slow alr, the empty space should be filled by me one, haha!! see they look soooo sian without me. LOL!!!=P
second try, yar, nice one. this proves tt failure is the mother of success!!=D
